"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."- 2 Corinthians 12:9-10One of the things on my bucket list was to get a meaningful tattoo and once I turned 18, I did it. The verse shown above is my absolute favorite verse in the Bible. When I was going through difficult times and didn't know where to turn to, I turned this verse and it got me through those times. When I first transferred to a new school in 6th grade I went through a lot of bullying and struggled a lot to find my identity and who I really was. Once I started getting into the Word and really focusing on God, this verse always stuck with me. It goes to show that in times where we feel weak, God's power is made PERFECT. It's not made okay or made almost perfect, it's made PERFECT. When I'm at my lowest and feel that no one is there, that's when God is right next to me telling me that everything will be okay. The dove under the verse signifies hope and peace whenever I read the verse. If I was ever in my room crying because I felt alone, after reading the verse I was calm and at peace because I knew God has everything in His hands. ♥
