don't look at me for what you see, see me for my heart. see me for the depths of who I am.

Who are you to judge me?
Today there are too many instances where people are getting judged becausse of what they do, how they act, what they wear or anything else. Everyone has judged someone, been judged, witnessed judgements or helped judge at one time or the other. As I think about it though, it's honestly one of the worst things that can be done. Sometimes people come off a certain way, whether they seem rude, mean or inconsiderate, but we honestly don't know what they go through or what they face that make them that way. If i'm having a bad day, I try to hide it, but sometimes I want to just flip out on people because of how badly they judge me for it. "Jess, you're so snappy", umm helloo do you have any idea how my day's been? NO so stop telling me i'm snappy. Honestly. Not only that but in school there are all different kinds of people. Some people are always nice, some are always mean, but you can't make judgements on a person if you know absolutely nothing about them. Sometimes all someone needs is someone to be there and listen to them and maybe they wouldn't be mean. Sometimes the people that seem the nicest can have the ugliest personalities, but we feel that we have the right to assume that they're a certain way. I'm not trying to say that i've never judged someone, because obviously it happens. All i'm saying is that we need to step back and really get to know people before we judge them on their lifestyles or decisions. Some people like to dress in all black, others like to wear mix-matching colors, others have feelings for people of their same gender and others are just plain different. Either way, before you make a judgement, think of what they might be going through or facing and get to know them. Talk to different people and hear their sides of life and how they're living. THEN, think about those days where you've felt gone through something and people have judged you. hmm...
