Take a Look Around...

To my big sister, whoever you are.

So, here at ENC they do a program where freshman girls get a "big sister." Anyone who knows me, knows that I've always wanted a big sister. I've always wanted someone who I can come to with things and talk to about situations without being judged. I have people in my life who are big sisters to me, and i'm so thankful for them, but it's weird knowing that one of the upperclassmen chose me, out of all people, to be her "little sister." I don't know who she is and I don't know when I'll meet her, but i'm so excited. I wonder what she's like, if she's like me, what race she is and if she has the same interests as me. At first, I was kindof creeped out. like...how did some upperclassmen even know about me? but in reality it's such a big deal to me. To other girls, it's probably not that serious, but to me it is. To me, it's a friendship that will hopefully be made that will last a long time. A friendship that will be amazing because its a young woman who is my sister in Christ who will mentor me and encourage me when I need it most. So, to my big sister, whoever you are, I'm so excited to meet you. I'm excited to talk to you and spend time with you and for you to get to know me.

Love,
your little sister.
