Letter to my father. ♥

I don't think I've ever really expressed how grateful I am for everything you've done for me and this family. You are such a hardworking man who fears God and does His will to the fullest. I admire you for the man you've become after the childhood that you had. You have truly proven to the world that a worldly father isn't as important as our heavenly Father. Because of you, I know the importance of hard work and persistence to reach my goals. You've taught me to never give up, regardless of how difficult a situation may be. When I went through my first heartbreak you sent me messages and encouraged me any chance you had. When I felt like I was going to fail a class you told me that I could do anything I set my mind to, and I'll be forever grateful for that, because those are lessons that I'll pass on to my own children. We aren't as close as I wish we were, but I'll always be your little girl. Anytime I look at my baby pictures of my sitting on your lap, I get teary eyed because although you work a lot, you've always been there. You were at my sports games cheering me on and when I was learning how to drive, you had patience with me. Which we all know is hard sometimes. There aren't enough words in the world to express how much I love you and how much you mean to me. You're the father that every girl wants. I love your creativity and love for music; it inspired me to fulfill my dreams. Your passion for Christ and the emotions I see when you preach touch my heart. Thank you for being the best father a girl could ask for and for providing this family with everything that we've ever needed and so much more. I love you, daddy. College won't take me away from you, I promise.
