This week was an intense week for me and a bunch of other teenagers. I went to a retreat with my church at a camp called Grotonwood. Because of the fact that I went last year, I went in expecting for God to work in great ways, because He always does. Honestly, though, I didn't expect Him to work in me so much and in my youth as well. It was as if we walked in filthy and left completely pure and clean. Its an awesome feeling to know that God sees you as a precious jewel and that He'll do anything to bring you back to Him. Regardless of the times that you've failed Him (which happens on a daily) and regardless of the times that you've let Him down, He still loves you regardless. Not only that, but He looks at us as beautiful and royalty, ALWAYS. I honestly won't be the same again. I have a new peace in my heart and know that no matter the circumstances I may be facing or hard times I may be enduring, they are all part of the blueprint that God has for my life. Also, He showed me that the times when I feel broken are the times that He uses for his work the most. When i'm at my lowest and feel that i've hit rock bottom, He speaks and uses me in great ways. Oil can only leak from a vessel when it is broken, and since I'm a vessel for Him and only Him, when i'm broken is when He flows through me the most. I pray that from today on, I live my life for Him only and not allow anything to take me away from him. The way that I feel now is a way that I never want to lose. I'm in love with Jesus ♥ :)
